The OneAviation Careers fair is organised by the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS), in partnership with the National Trades Union Congress (NTUC), NTUC’s e2i (Employment and Employability Institute), and Workforce Singapore (WSG).

Themed “Join Us: Together We Will Take Singapore Aviation to Greater Heights”, the OneAviation Careers fair 2023 will be bigger with fresh elements to showcase the new employment and education opportunities the Singapore aviation sector offers:

Mr Han Kok Juan, Director-General of the CAAS said, “We put together the first-ever aviation sector-wide career and recruitment fair last year to rekindle interest in the aviation sector after two very difficult COVID years. The fair attracted over 11,000 job seekers and aviation enthusiasts. The strong participation of companies and education institutions in this second edition, almost double the number of exhibitors we had last year, is testament to the success of this effort, our hope in the future and the great demand for Singaporeans to join our ranks as we work together to take Singapore aviation to greater heights.”

Deputy Secretary-General of NTUC, Ms Cham Hui Fong said, “NTUC looks forward to supporting the growth of the Air Hub and to work with the Aviation sector to better the wages and work prospects of the workers. Through Company Training Committees, companies should also work closely with unions as they transform their businesses, to help workers adapt and keep pace with the changing environments, reskilling, and training workers in new areas.”

NTUC e2i’s Chief Executive Officer, Ms Caryn Lim said, “e2i is proud to be a part of the OneAviation Careers fair and is here to support all job seekers - fresh graduates or mid-career switchers - who aspire to be part of the revitalised aviation sector. We strongly encourage job seekers to take advantage of e2i’s suite of employment and employability services, including curated resources like the OneAviation Careers Hub, to chart their career paths.”

Ms Dilys Boey, Chief Executive of WSG said, “WSG is happy to partner CAAS on manpower development as the sector is well poised for growth. Through the OneAviation Careers fair, individuals interested in entering the sector will be better supported to navigate the many career opportunities within the sector, and understand how to better prepare themselves for new and emerging job roles. I encourage individuals to explore personalised career advisory by career coaches, or MyCareerFuture digital tools aimed at uncovering career opportunities, and jumpstart a fulfilling career within the aviation sector.”
