(New York, NY) – Today, New York City Comptroller Scott M. Stringer launched a new one-stop COVID-19 Recovery Center to connect New Yorkers with City, State, and federal relief and services as the city emerges from the pandemic. This comprehensive multilingual guide offers information, resources, and opportunities for tenants, homeowners, parents, small business owners, excluded workers, and more. Through the online hub, New Yorkers can access critical information about public programs including the COVID-19 Rental Assistance Program, expanded Child Tax Credit, COVID-19 funeral assistance, Excluded Workers Fund, stimulus checks, affordable broadband access, and the Homeownership Relief and Protection Program.
“As our city emerges from the COVID-19 pandemic, it’s more important than ever that New Yorkers know where they can find accurate information on the resources available to them,” said Comptroller Stringer. “That’s why my office developed the COVID-19 Recovery Center, a multilingual comprehensive guide that brings key information about the many government programs available directly to New Yorkers in need. Whether you are a tenant, homeowner, parent, small business owner, excluded worker, or a concerned citizen looking to assist a neighbor, I encourage all New Yorkers trying to navigate these challenging times to visit our COVID-19 Recovery Center and take advantage of this critical resource.”
